Turning Research into Recovery:
Impact Update – December 2025

As Israel faces an unprecedented mental health crisis, Liberated Heart is proud to share the promising and moving results from our clinical research conducted at Emek Medical Center.

Your support is what makes this breakthrough possible. Together, we are proving that there is a different way to treat trauma—one that truly brings our soldiers home.

The Science of Healing: Our Methodology

Our program combines structured psychotherapy with controlled, clinical MDMA administration. To ensure our results are indisputable and meet the highest scientific standards, we utilize the most rigorous markers in the field:

  • Clinical Assessment (CAPS-5): The global gold standard for diagnosing and measuring PTSD severity.

  • Objective Physiological Markers: We go beyond self-reporting. We measure actual nervous system changes:

    • Skin Conductance Response (SCR): Measuring sympathetic arousal and the body's "fight or flight" readiness.

    • Heart Rate (HR) Reactivity: Tracking the physical response to personalized traumatic triggers.

Breakthrough Results (As of December 2025)

The data collected through the end of 2025 offers immense hope to the medical community and, most importantly, to the veterans themselves:

1. Dramatic and Sustained Improvement

90% of study participants have shown measurable and significant clinical improvement. Unlike traditional psychiatric medications, where effects often diminish once the prescription stops, our participants' improvement was sustained throughout a full 12-month follow-up period. The healing effect continues long after the sessions conclude.

2. Physiological Normalization

Our objective data confirms a profound biological shift:

  • Near-Elimination of Hyper-arousal: We observed a near-total reduction in the physiological stress response (SCR) when participants were exposed to traumatic triggers.

  • Heart Rate Stabilization: Significant reduction in HR reactivity demonstrates that the body has regained the ability to regulate itself, moving out of a constant state of trauma.

Why Your Support Matters Now

The convergence of robust clinical data and objective physiological proof is our key to national change.

Our Goal: To use these 2025 results to secure permanent government funding and integrate MDMA-assisted therapy into Israel's national healthcare system.

Your donation today is an investment in the healing of an entire generation of defenders.

CAPS-5 assessments are conducted before treatment begins, throughout the treatment process, and up to one year after the treatment ends. As shown, the therapeutic effect continues long after the sessions have concluded, in contrast to other treatments (such as psychiatric medications), where the effect typically ends once the treatment stops.

The MAT group shows a near-elimination of the physiological hyper-arousal response.
